Inflation – consumer price indices for selected social groups in April 2024
In April, the prices in Slovakia rose by 2.1% year-on-year. Inflation was lower in the households of pensioners and low-income households. Annual price growth in pensioner households reached 1.4%, in low-income households 1.9%.

Harmonized indices of consumer prices in April 2024
The annual inflation measured by the harmonized index of consumer prices ac-cording to the European harmonized methodology reached the value 2.4% in April 2024, which was 0.3 percentage points lower than its value in March 2024.

Inflation – consumer price indices in April 2024
The prices of alcohol and tobacco, fuel, personal care products and services increased month-on-month. Higher administrative fees increased by a quarter as part of the consolidation of public finances also had a significant impact on price growth.
