Turnover in internal trade in February 2025
Retail turnover in February dropped after 13 months of growth. Only specialized stores, such as textiles, footwear, drugstores and pharmacies, were prosperous. The majority of turnover ended in a year-on-year loss.

Turnover in internal trade in January 2025
Retail turnover rose slightly in January. Hyper- and supermarkets as well as specialized stores were prosperous, e.g. textiles, footwear or drug store. On the contrary, turnover de-cline was felt by other retail stores.

Turnover in internal trade in December and in 2024
Retail turnover rose in 2024, but its growth rate accelerated significantly in December, exceeding 10%. Annual growth at the level of 4.5% was mainly due to positive developments in mail-order sales and in large hyper- and supermarkets.

Turnover in internal trade in November 2024
In November, retailers were pleased by a faster sales growth, it was the fifth highest in 2024. Mail order sales, hyper- and supermarkets, but also selected specialized stores were prosperous.

Turnover in internal trade in October 2024
Retailers increased their turnover year-on-year in October by 4.9%, as a result of which it remained increasing for the tenth consecutive month. The faster pace of turnover growth was mainly due to the three most important components of retail trade.
